… I’m working on some updates to my site, mainly updating Word Press to the latest version… Sooooooo, things may look a little odd, not work at all, or even disappear completely for a while over the next couple of days…
:) Just wanted to give you a heads up
Well, maybe not EVER, but it’s pretty close.
So… Kris and I were hanging out yesterday evening after returning home from visiting our respective families for Easter. After hitting the gym, we decided to run by the grocery store to get provisions for dinner and by the bank to, well, take care of banky type things…
After grabbing some food and other supplies, and after choosing checkout lines VERY poorly, we headed over to the Wachovia…
When we pulled up to the little parking area in front of the ATMs there was no one else around. I hopped out and ran up to the ATMs and Kris followed soon after. She was only getting some cash, so she finished up pretty quickly and headed back to the car. I was depositing some checks as well as getting a little cash, so it took me a bit longer.
After I finished my transactions, I headed back to the car… fumbling with my wallet trying to put my card and receipt away and, in general, paying much more attention to that than to where I was going…
When I reached the car, I grabbed the door handle as I’d done a million times before and opened the door… As I pulled on the handle the though “Hmmmm, this feels different than normal” crossed my mind… That was quickly followed by “Why the hell is there someone in my seat!?”.
After about a second, my brain finally realized that I was at the wrong car! I quickly apologized to the somewhat startled girl in the passenger seat and quickly sprinted around their small silver car to the correct small silver car… where my girlfriend was waiting and laughing hysterically…
Needless to say, I spent most of the ride home a very bright shade of red, shaking my head in dismay… :)
